Why This Blog?

We wanted to start a blog so everyone is updated with what is going on with Joe.

It is important for Joe to have a strong network of peeps so thank you all for your love and support. Please be sure to connect with Joe, via his cell which he always has with him. Text msgs, calls, FB posts, etc. are good. He can't always respond, but he really appreciates you reaching out and hearing from you.

We are trying to live in the moment and like this quote:

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."

Hi,

I don't know Joe, but do know Ray and Tom and family. I was heartbroken to hear of Joe's illness and struggles and yesterday, held a sort of cyber pray-in/medication time twice, in the morning and evening. I added Joe to the prayers as soon as I heard. I will continue to pray and send love, energy and hope to Joe and to all of you.

Hi Joe,
I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Be strong and you will fight through this. I will check on your blog for updates and any fundraising/awareness activities that may be going on. I wish you the best during this time; when my grandfather was suffering from cancer, we played the rocky theme song as a means of giving him the energy when he didnt have it to get through the treatments. Maybe something that will inspire you and get you going on those tough days. If I can do anything please let me know.

All the best
